Social Justice, Actions, and Change

Have you ever feel like things are happening at the wrong time?
Like you do something and someone else gets all the credit.
In Percy Jackson and the Olympians The Sea of Monsters
by Rick Riordan that exactly happened. I first thought that
everything was going to go fine until later in the book where
action usually occurs. I was surprised that trouble had happened
so fast. I mean right after Percy came out of his school attacked by
Laistrygonians a group of giant cannibals he witnesses his camp
being attacked.
I noticed that even though Tyson and him saved the camp, the new
activity director gave the credit to Percy's rival Clarisse. Percy didn't
have any power to do anything and if he tried it would just mean
punishment.Everyone is different in a way and not the same. It didn't
assume that everyone is happy and good.
Some bad things that happens in the book is like the environment and
how animals and plants get sick. That is the same in the real world but
not with a golden fleece able to fix it.

The Demonata Lord Loss by Darren Shan

This book was an amazing book and different than many other
books. It hadn't started off normally but exciting  getting readers
hooked into the book. For example in chapter 2 already It starts
off so viciously and shocking. There's was already so much details
of the demons that I had to read slow just to get all of that. It was
like the author Darren Shan wanted us to know that this book was
going to be different then his old series and that the villains were
nothing alike. They had no emotions, no hearts, and cruel with evil!
One thing I really liked about this book is that it doesn't show Grubbs'
parents that much. It was only in the first 2 chapter. I believe that
it was on purpose and the reason is too not be attached to those
characters. That would have disappointed me if I really attached
and then killed. Though it did create suspense and I wondered what
Grubbs was going to do.
This book definitely grossed me out but it was awesome.

Lake of Souls Reading Response( Spoiler Alert )

Lake of Souls by Darren Shan is the 10 book of the Cirque Du Freak series.
I thought that this was one of my favorite book of the series because in this
book it doesn't go along with the main plot. I feel that Darren Shan has his
characters start off with a normal life and then one day their lives change.
So most of his books are similar. This book is like a journey or quest with
Darren as the hero and a quest to stop the vampaneze.
Every character does something that affects everyone. For example when
Mr.Crepsley was killed by Steve, Darren's lust for revenge grew stronger.
I thought that it was important that even though Darren wasn't suppose to
help Harkat to his journey to the Lake of Souls, he knew that Harkat couldn't
do it alone and he wanted to help a friend that also saved his life. Overall this
book was interesting with fast action and excitement.

Childhood Favorite Freak the Mighty Response

I have just finished rereading my childhood favorite book called Freak the Mighty. When I first read this book was when I was in 3rd grade. The first time I didn't noticed most details. For example Freak and Max doesn't seem likely that they would have became friends. Max is tall and Freak is short. They were both teased because of their size. It was because of their similarities that brought them together. It was very cool because I liked how Rodman Philbrick makes the voice of each character just like their personality.
What's interesting was that Freak is smart enough to look up his own disease and then afterward not even tell Max that he was going to die. I think he's mature for his age and didn't want Max to be sad. After all Freak was his only friend and he knows Max will have to keep moving forward without him.
